The Gene Elrod Success Center, located on the fifth floor of Whitley Hall in Room 500, is a well-planned and well developed learning environment that is designed to help students reach their academic goals. The GESC staff is dedicated to assisting students so that learning is attainable. Offered to students at no cost is tutoring in English, math, accounting, reading, and study skills; tutoring may be one-to-one sessions with subject area specialist, or students may receive instruction via computer tutorials, audio tapes, or videos. Other services offered to TROY - Montgomery students include career information and study skills workshops. The GESC also administers make-up and placement testing for the university.
