The Library's mission is to provide the necessary monographic, serial and electronic resources to support undergraduate and graduate education and to provide sufficient human resources to help undergraduate and graduate students utilize those resources.
Through the
Rosa Parks Library
homepage, the Library provides access to collections which include some 32,000 books, extensive online database system holdings containing more than 18,000 full text journals, online database systems with partial text and/or bibliographic references and over 59,000 online full text e-books. In addition to the TROY University Libraries Online Catalog, library patrons also have access to the online catalog of the Montgomery Area Academic Libraries (MALCAT). Use of the MALCAT system enables patrons to search for books, journals and other library materials located at Alabama State University, Auburn University at Montgomery, Faulkner University and Huntingdon College. All of our online resources are available 24 hours a day. Additional assistance is also available through Live Chat!, an online chat service, available 24/7 and by e-mail. We hope that you find the Rosa Parks Library resources useful, and we invite you to visit the library and experience the world of knowledge it can provide to you.
The Air University Library, located on Maxwell Air Force Base, is one of the largest military libraries in the nation and may be used by military-related students. Civilian students who have classes on either Maxwell or Gunter may also use this library. Additional library materials are provided by the TROY Library and by other libraries within the state via the Network of Alabama Academic Libraries (NAAL) consortium.
