Office of the Registrar
The Registrar's Office is located on the fourth floor of Whitley Hall, room 418. The
registrar's Office supports the instructional and student progress endeavors of the
university by providing quality to students, faculty, academic and administrative
departments, and public.
Services include academic record maintenance, student verification letters, transcript
issuance, student registration, evaluation of transfer credit, evaluation of
nontraditional credits such as CLEP and DANTES, monitoring of loan deferments, auditing
files for graduation, issuing Service Members Opportunity College contracts to military
and their dependents, Bootstrap letters and undergraduate academic advising.
Undergraduate advisors are at two locations; Whitley Hall and Maxwell AFB. All new students (new means have never attended TROY
- Montgomery) must meet with an advisor at
the time of their initial registration. Advisors are not assigned nor are students
required, other than at the initial registration, to meet with one. Advisors see students
on a walk-in basis. No appointment is necessary.
The Registrar's Office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to
5:30 p.m. and
Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We look forward to meeting you.
