Placement Tests

Placement tests are administered in the Gene Elrod Success Center, Whitley Hall, Room 500.

Students wishing to take the ACT residual test at the Montgomery campus, must take the following steps:

• register with the Gene Elrod Success Center prior to taking the test by calling (334) 241-9530
• arrive at the Gene Elrod Success Center thirty minutes prior to time of testing session for check-in
• provide receipt showing payment of $45 testing fee
• have a valid photo-identification

The results of the test are valid only at the Troy University campuses and cannot be transferred to any other institution or agency. No test reports will be issued by the University to high schools, colleges, or scholarship agencies.
