The purpose of this program is to prepare new entrants to the adult education field to become qualified professional practitioners in adult education.
1. Based on current and projected needs of Alabama's workforce, this degree seeks to enable students to successfully develop diverse curricula and programs for adult education in public, private, and governmental environments.
2. This course-of-study will provide students with broad foundational elements of adult education, highlighting both theory and application.

Dr. Joe Reynolds is the program coordinator for the Montgomery Campus Master of Science in Adult Education. Students are required to develop a program plan of study with the program coordinator at their earliest convenience.
