  • Teaches First-Year Composition, Composition Theory, Technical and Professional Writing, and Anglo-Irish Literature.
  • Research interests include Reforming College Composition, the Role of Writing Centers in Writing Pedagogy, and Teaching/Mentoring Issues in College Composition.

  • The Place of Grammar in Writing Instruction: Past, Present, and Future (Heinnemann, 1995).
