1 day: 1 show = $1,760 (plus labor fees) and Includes the following:

(Renter has the option, but not the obligation, to display, promote and/or sell souvenir items audio/video cassettes, gifts, pins, and T-shirts in connection with and at the performance. Accounting for such sales will he handled by Davis Theatre representative and representative of Renter. Fifteen percent (20%) of gross sales shall be paid to the Davis Theatre prior to the renter’s departure from the Theatre
If the theatre is occupied more than four hours, $23.00 per hour will be added for Technical Manager after the four hour minimum rental
Before contract can be issued, a technical rider must be sent to the office including move in and out times and show times. You must contact our Technical Manager to discuss technical rider before rental of theatre can occur.
No contract is the same price. Everything is based on above prices plus needs of technical rider that is sent before a contract is issued. If you need multiple days per contract period, please call our office to discuss rates.
General Information
Troy University’s Davis Theatre seats 1,200 people. 584 seats are on the Main Floor and 616 seats are in the Balcony, dressing rooms have two restrooms.
As of January 2010, renters must pay a $500 non-refundable deposit fee for holding a date. The deposit fee will go towards the rental.
The deposit fee is due 7 business days after the date was been booked. If the deposit fee is not received within 7 business days, the renter’s held date will automatically be deleted.
If a renter has to reschedule a date, it must be rescheduled within two months of the original date held for the deposit fee to transfer.
If a show is cancelled twice in a row, within the given year, the renter can not book a date or rent the theatre for one year, unless the cancellation is due to extenuating circumstances (Acts of God, Death, etc.)
All shows brought into the theatre must be family oriented.

or fax to (334) 241-9756. Technical Rider should include, move in and move out times, and any technical specifications such as light, sound, and number of microphones.
Do not advertise until the contract is finalized, otherwise rental fees must be paid in full. All advertisements must include the following text: Troy University's Davis Theatre.
As part of the contact, twelve tickets on the main floor must be given to The Davis Theatre.
If a non-profit organization wishes to rent the theatre, you may submit a letter to Vice Chancellor Ray White, with the organization’s name and purpose for consideration of a discount. There are no guarantees that your request will be granted.

Outside caterings is not allowed. All catering must be done through Sodexho, please call 241-9516.
Labor changes are based on technical specifications and load-in and load-out time.
