Special "Add-On" Event

Concept by Tommy Newman Book by Tommy Newman and Gordon Greenberg Lyrics by Gaby Alter and Tommy Newman Music by Mark Allen, Gaby Alter and Tommy Newman

Band Geeks! is a high-stepping tribute to high school marching bands and misfits everywhere. With shrinking enrollment and dwindling funds, the Cuyahoga High Marching Beavers are treading close to extinction. When a troubled athlete is relegated to their ranks, tuba-playing band captain Elliott and his best friend Laura must find a way to unite the band, embrace their inner geek and save the March- ing Beavers. With an exciting and original new pop-inspired score, Band Geeks! is a brand new show that will have you marching out on a high note! Developed for the Goodspeed Theatre and featured in the 2009 National Asso- ciation of Musical Theatre in 2009, TROY 's Band Geeks! premieres the adapted script for Music Theatre International. Co-creator Tommy Newman is a TROY alum.
