The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program is intended to prepare students with analytical and software design/development skills for positions that require a high level of theoretical and practical expertise. The curriculum is based on Association of Computer Machinery ACM/IEE and Computer Science Accreditation Board recommendations and blends appropriate computer science concepts and methodologies. Emphasize student development of analytical and software design/development skills critical for success in the rapidly evolving, highly technical field of computer information science.

Promote student knowledge and understanding of general and technical computer science concepts along with methods for developing, operation, and maintaining information resources.
