Golf Classic
Since 1994, the TROY University Montgomery Alumni
Association has hosted an annual golf tournament. As a
result, we have awarded numerous scholarships to TROY-Montgomery students. This
year’s tournament, the 12th Annual MAA Golf Classic, promises to
be a fun-filled event.
The tournament will be Friday, April 29, 2005. There
will be 18 holes of great golf at Emerald Mountain Golf Club located
in Wetumpka, Alabama.
Emerald Mountain is located in the hills along the end
of the Appalachian Trail. Natural springs roll through the forests
amid the rugged beauty of deep ravines, rolling hills and hidden
treasures. It is said, Emerald Mountain is destined to become one of
the Southeast’s premier golf facilities.
- Entry is open to the public
- Four person scramble with averaged handicaps
- Mulligans and
Shoot-Out Super Tickets will be sold
- Longest drive, men's and women's divisions
- 8:00 AM
Registration begins
- 9:00 AM Shotgun Start
Awards presentation will begin when the last group finishes play.
