In 1996, BellSouth
Foundation awarded Troy State University
a grant to provide professional development and in-service
education for school counselors in sixteen selected pilot-site high schools in Butler, Dallas, Lowndes, Elmore and Autauga Counties. The network enables school counselors to interact with counselor colleagues in any of the other pilot sites, counseling faculty members at TROY University - Montgomery, and personnel at the State Department of Education. While the CounselorNet is designed mainly to serve our pilot sites, visitors are welcome.
